Bear seen swimming in a San Dimas swimming pool

Just yesterday a bear was captured by video camera from a helicopter while it took some laps around a pool in San Dimas, California.

This traveling animal was apparently having a scorching afternoon. The bear was spotted jumping over a chain-link fence and walking on top of a wall. Once in the backyard of the residence, the bear tested the waters then later searched the area for food. After rummaging the house’s garbage he returned to enjoy the pool, and in the video you see the traveler taking full advantage of a cool pool during the hot season.

See swimming bear at the break…awwww, look how cute he is…just don’t swim with him.

Jewel Heist in London, $65 Million Stolen

It’s the biggest gem heist in British history, and it was all captured on cell phone video.
Searching for two thieves who stole $65 million in jewelry from a London shop.
Scotland Yard said two men walked into an exclusive jewelry store in London’s posh Mayfair district and walked out with $65 million in stolen jewels.
The robbery was so fast and so successful, some have likened it to a movie crossed with a military maneuver.
At 4:40 p.m. on Aug. 6, two robbers dressed in suits entered Graff Diamonds’ flagship store — which is known for its rich and famous clientele Two minutes later, they were out the door, carrying $65 million in jewelry, and with a blond hostage in tow.
They fired a gunshot to clear the street, and by the time the man recording the getaway on his cell phone looked up, they were gone, taking the jewels after releasing the hostage.
Police say the loot included 43 pieces of jewelry, comprising earrings, watches, rings and a necklace made of 272 diamonds.
The heist was so brazenpolice say the men arrived at the store in a London taxi and made an incredible getaway, changing cars three times over a distance measuring less than half a mile. They crashed once, handed a bag of jewels to an accomplice on a motorcycle and gave police the slip, despite being right in the center of London.
Police believe that a total of four men took part in the operation. The only thing they’ve recovered so far is one of the getaway cars.
Graff Diamonds Robbed Twice Before
Graff Diamonds has already been targeted twice before by thieves. In a 2003 robbery at the same store, police say a Kosovan Serb jewel thief, Nebojsa Denic, who belonged to the notorious Pink Panthers group of thieves, stole $37.8 million worth of jewels. Denic was arrested, convicted and sentenced to 15 years in jail.

Wife hires hitman, Boynton Beach Police Sting

Dalia Dippolito gets Punk’d by Boynton Police and all caught on camera for your viewing pleasure. It seems that yesterday was the day that Dippolito’s husband was to be killed by her hired hitman. Dippolito had hired a hitman, who turned out to be an undercover cop, for $3,000 to kill her hubby. The day of the supposed murder the Boynton Police knocked on the door of Dippolito’s house to tell the husband what the wife had plotted to go through with. The police staged the house as a murder scene: roped off the house with police tape, brought in the coroner, the news reporters on scene, and cop cars all around. You’ll see at the video her reaction to finding out her husband was just murdered.

They later broke the bad news to her that her husband wasn’t dead but in the next room. She deserves an Oscar. Great acting, Dalia! Encore… Seems like the cops know how to set up a crime scene for good too.

Horse hits car in Israel, Head on Collision | Video Cam

While on vacation you may notice many odd things in different countries. But it seems that this video camera footage takes the cake. Tourists capture the scenic Israel countryside and spot three horses barreling down the highway–on the wrong side of the road of course. And naturally an oncoming sedan presented itself. Two of the horses swerve out of the way but the last one attempts a jump over the car only to crash into the windshield. Fortunately, the horse gets out of the mangled windshield and trots away. The driver suffered minor cuts from the glass and the horse was slightly injured. That’s why it’s great to go out and explore the world, you’ll most likely come back with exciting travel tales. Demolition Goes Wrong in Turkey

Plans don’t always work well with reality for some reason. A plan to demolish a building in Cankiri, Turkey didn’t go accordingly. The 80 foot high building rolled over onto its roof instead of blowing up as you can see from the video camera footage.
The building was a flour factory built in 1928 which had been abandoned since the 1980. It was to be demolished to make way for a shopping center.
No one was reported to have been hurt. Dirty deeds done cheap…just pay a little more next time and I’m sure the building will go down instead of rolling around the neighborhood.
