Demolition Goes Wrong in Turkey
Plans don’t always work well with reality for some reason. A plan to demolish a building in Cankiri, Turkey didn’t go accordingly. The 80 foot high building rolled over onto its roof instead of blowing up as you can see from the video camera footage.
The building was a flour factory built in 1928 which had been abandoned since the 1980. It was to be demolished to make way for a shopping center.
No one was reported to have been hurt. Dirty deeds done cheap…just pay a little more next time and I’m sure the building will go down instead of rolling around the neighborhood.
