50+ Rabbis circle Israel in airplane to ward off swine flu
A bunch of rabbis and Jewish mystics took to the skies over Israel, praying and blowing their ceremonial trumpets to ward off H1N1 FluĀ (aka, swine flu).
Around 50 religious leaders circled over Israel on Monday, chanting prayers and blowing their horns called “shofars”.
The flight’s aim was “to stop the pandemic so people will stop dying from it,” Rabbi Yitzhak Batzri said to Yedioth Aharanot newspaper.
According to Israel’s health ministry, there have been more than 2,000 cases of swine flu, I mean H1N1, in the country, with five fatalities so far.
“We are certain that, thanks to the prayer, the danger is already behind us,” added Mr Batzri was quoted as saying.
Television footage from the BBC shows rabbis in black hats rocking backwards and forwards as they read prayers from Kabbala.

Korean Lawmakers Decide to Fight…Politicians!
Lawmakers decide to take it to streets (inside the Korean Parliament). The fight was between South Korean ruling party and the opposition over a media bill, which would allow for cross ownerships between Broadcasts companies and Newspapers.
Men and women got into the brawl, showing that there is equality in unruly places. The Korean ruling party took over the speaker podium while the opposition party barricaded the Parliament Chamber room from the outside. No one was hurt but there was a lot of hair pulling and, sadly to say, name calling.
The Media Bill did pass.
